Reflections on the 2010-2011 Confirmation Experience

I particularly liked the opportunity to witness how I came to Christ and how it was a major turning point in my life. The memorization of the Apostles Creed was the perfect vehicle to explain the whole of the Gospel in a structured yet compact manner. I got to share some of MY favorite verses and why they are special to me.

Elder Norm Hargraves talking about his experience as a sponsor during the Confirmation process:

It was a great experience to sponsor Shane Lefever. We were able to meet on six various "official" as well as several "unofficial" occasions and I was able to watch Shane grow spiritually throughout this process. In the past few weeks I have had the opportunity to associate with Shane once again and it has not been surprising to me that he continues to grow in his faith and relationship with Christ. I do not have any son's but if I did, I would pray that they would mimic the growth that I see in Shane. The entire process was very enriching and rewarding to me.

Parents of Mike Peters reflecting on the confirmation process:

We are so thankful to have had Michael in this year's Confirmation class. It was a great chance for him to grow in his faith and his understanding of God's Word, while building meaningful relationships with the others in the class and the leadership in the church. He also found it to be a lot of fun!

Thank you so much for all the time you all have put in to the class and our son.  Our entire family has grown because of it.
