Brief Biography

"The best way to multiply the body of Christ, His church, is to equip others to evangelize the world." (Statement of Dick Hillis, founder of OC). Rey and Vicky Quilaton have been with OC since 1982. Rey serves as coordinator of the Church Growth Seminar and team leader of the Southern Philippines Team. Rey and the team seek to establish Christ-centered, Bible-believing churches and send out new Filipino missionaries.

One Challenge International believes there is unlimited potential in people totally committed to Christ. OC missionaries are challenged by the words of the Apostle Paul to be "servants for Jesus’ sake" to the church (2 Corinthians 4:5).

Rey, in addition to being team leader, is serving as the chariman of the Mindanao Sunrise to the Nations Movement, which involves evangelical churches that seek to establish Christ-centered, Bible-believing churches and send new Filipino missionaries in and from Mindanao. Rey’s desire is to assist the church in seeing that the numerical growth is carefully balanced with spiritual maturity.

Rey believes that the fulfillment of the Great Commission is completely dependent upon the power of the Holy Spirit. Vicky, in addition to being a wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two girls, has been actively involved in teaching and ministering to women and ministers’ wives.
