Brief Biography

Will grew up in Maine, and Cindy grew up in Pennsylvania, where her parents, Terry and Jim Wolfgang, were members of Beverly Heights. They met in South Carolina while attending Columbia Biblical Seminary and Graduate School of Missions. They were married May 24, 1986. In March of 1991 Cindy and Will, along with their son Matthew, arrived in Omak, Washington to begin serving with North American Indigenous Ministries. Both Rachael and Benjamin were born in Omak. The tragic history and current "involuntary minority" status of Native Americans makes ministry among these people a challenge, but the Kraske family is helping to see Native Americans come to Christ and become equipped for healthy life and ministry in the body of Christ.

North American Indigenous Ministries, formerly known as the North American Indian Ministries, was established to glorify God by sharing the Gospel with North American indigenous peoples in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. They strive to make disciples, who would then win their cultural worlds for Christ. NAIM is also committed to having covenant relationships with churches of indigenous peoples to create more vibrant ministries. NAIM recognizes the fresh spiritual hunger among indigenous peoples and will collaborate to raise up biblical churches that follow Jesus Christ.

The Kraske’s ministry has changed over time according to the opportunities God gives and the doors that open. Currently they are focused on the Native youth in this area. Will volunteers as a mentor and tutors Native American kids in junior high and high school. Because he’s a volunteer, he’s free to share his faith in ways that a teacher can’t. The young people he meets are anxious to come for recreation and youth group. He is now networking with local churches to multiply their efforts by ministering as a team.

Cindy works as a part-time nurse in the cardiology unit of the hospital and invests time in their three children.
