Brief Biography

The Jury family works as missionaries with Operation Mobilization (OM), an international mission agency with over 4000 workers in more than 100 countries and aboard two ocean-going ships. Randy originally joined OM as a volunteer for six weeks on OM’s ship, M/V Doulos, in January 1978, and then he stayed for 12 years working as the ship’s welder. Jaana joined the Doulos in 1980. They married in 1983 and continued with the ship ministry until moving to join the OM USA headquarters team in 1992.

Randy oversees the Support Services department at the 45,000 square foot facility and conference center in Tyrone, Georgia. This includes oversight of the print shop, mail center, and book store, as well as ordering all the supplies and upkeep and maintenance of the headquarters facility. Randy also helps order spare parts and supplies for OM’s ships and sends those orders to the ships all over the world. "We value and appreciate very much the support in prayer and finance the Beverly Heights Church family has been to our family over the years," says Randy.

With the active schedule of the rest of the family, Jaana keeps very busy at home cooking and doing a superb job as homemaker and taxi driver. She is also involved with the OM ladies’ ministry and at church.
