Brief Biography

Sam’s primary call is to share the gospel with unchurched and disenfranchised teens, developing relationships with them, and discipling those who wish to grow in Christ. Currently he is partnered with Pastor Jarrod Sechler and other ministers in developing adult and student leadership teams teaching personal growth, discipleship and leadership training.

Righteous Outreach of Christ’s Kids (R.O.C.K.) is a collection of people dedicated to reaching the lost with Christ’s message of love, hope and salvation.

The Hartman family resides in Central Pennsylvania in the shadow of Penn State. Sam’s wife, Beth, is the daughter of John and Carol Ferguson. She grew up in Mt. Lebanon and attended Beverly Heights throughout childhood. Now she is a high school English teacher in the State College school district. The Hartman’s three sons attend the local public school system.

Sam Hartman works in developing adult and student leadership teams, teaching personal Christian growth and discipleship. Leadership training consists of program development and execution, small-group leading for both non-Christians and Christians, apologetics (defense of the faith), Bible verse memorization, Bible education, service to both the church and community, and evangelism.
