LITE Team (Leaders In Training for Evangelism):
Sr. High student servant-leaders (in grades 9 – 12) who are the core of Youth-Connect lead by Joe Williams & Bob Kelley. Students are equipped "to make a spiritual impact in the lives of family, friends, Beverly Heights Church and the world at large." It is from this group that we select our Youth-Connect small group leaders and assistant leaders. They will meet once a week (before each Youth-Connect meeting) in order to prepare the small group lesson.
Process for Membership
:Each September and January we undergo a rigorous process of orientation and interviews for students interested in becoming members of the LITE Team. They are required to fill out a survey and sign together with their parents, a LITE Team Covenant.
LITE Team meetings are held once a month during lunchtime on Sundays.
