When
The children’s choirs meet every Wednesday afternoon (September – May) and participate in the worship services several times throughout the year.
First Song Practice - Wednesday, 4:35 - 5:10 PM
New Song Practice - Wednesday, 3:50 - 4:30 PM
What
Children are taught beautiful hymns and anthems, including the origin and meaning of the text.
Children are trained in music reading and sight singing using Orff-Kodaly techniques.
Participation in the choir gives children the opportunity to serve God through music and to discover the part music plays in our worship.
The choir provides opportunities for fellowship, fun and experiencing the joy of music.
